Outcrop Silver & Gold Corp Advances High-Grade Silver Exploration in Colombia
Outcrop Silver & Gold Corporation announces a significant advancement in its exploration efforts at the Los Mangos vein system, part of its Santa Ana high-grade silver project located in Colombia. The company recently reported impressive drilling results from drill hole DH469, which intersected 1.06 meters grading 1,930 g/t AgEq, including an extraordinary 0.30 meters at 4,988 g/t AgEq. This drilling campaign, which represents a 150-meter step-out from previously known mineralization, confirms the continuity of the Los Mangos vein system and suggests the presence of high-grade mineralization at depth. Such findings underscore the potential for future resource growth in the area, positioning Outcrop Silver to capitalize on its expanding mineral assets.
The drilling results reveal the discovery of a new, high-grade mineralized shoot situated north of previous intercepts, supporting the likelihood of uncovering additional high-grade zones deeper within the vein system. Despite the current understanding of the vein structure being limited, which hampers estimations of true widths, the findings are bolstered by the company's previous surface chip and grab samples, which, while selective, indicate promising underlying mineralization. This ongoing exploration is critical as it not only extends the known mineralization footprint but also reinforces the significance of the Mangos Fault, which continues to yield high silver grades and demonstrates the area's mineral potential.
Outcrop Silver is dedicated to expanding its mineral resources while ensuring responsible mining practices and active community engagement. The Santa Ana project, with an estimated indicated resource of 1,226 thousand tonnes containing 24.2 million ounces of silver equivalent at a grade of 614 g/t, is poised to make a substantial impact on the local economy and the silver market. With over 13,400 meters drilled in 2025 and three active rigs on site, the company's exploration strategy aims to solidify its position in the silver industry while demonstrating a clear pathway for resource expansion.
In addition to the drilling success at Los Mangos, Outcrop Silver's commitment to sustainable development remains a focal point of its operations. The company actively engages with local communities to ensure that its mining practices benefit the surrounding population. As it continues to explore and expand the Santa Ana project, Outcrop Silver aims to transform into a significant silver producer while prioritizing responsible and impactful mining practices. The ongoing drilling campaign is expected to yield even more insights into the mineral potential of the region, further enhancing the company's prospects in the silver sector.
