Clorox Innovates Holiday Gifting with “Gift of Clean” Initiative

In a bold move to redefine holiday gifting, Clorox launches its “Gift of Clean” campaign, which aims to alleviate the stress often associated with the holiday season. Beginning on November 12, 2025, this initiative offers consumers a complimentary two-hour in-home cleaning service powered by Angi, alongside a bundle of Clorox’s popular cleaning products. The concept stems from Clorox research indicating that the feeling of cleanliness can evoke the same satisfaction as indulging in a fresh manicure or cuddling with pets. This unique approach positions Clorox as not only a provider of cleaning products but also as a facilitator of a more enjoyable and stress-free holiday experience.

Tad Kittredge, Vice President of Marketing and Innovation at The Clorox Company, emphasizes the goal of flipping “the script on forgettable holiday gifts.” By providing a practical and enjoyable alternative to traditional presents, Clorox hopes to resonate with consumers seeking meaningful ways to celebrate the season. The holiday bundle includes Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes, Clorox® Clean-Up® Cleaner + Bleach, Clorox® ToiletWand®, and Clorox® Automatic Toilet Bowl Cleaner Tablets. Recipients can easily schedule their cleaning service through a QR code provided in the gift package, making the process seamless and user-friendly.

Starting on November 19, 2025, consumers can claim their free gift via a designated landing page, with the option to share it with friends or family. Clorox enhances the festive spirit by introducing a new holiday jingle to promote the “Gift of Clean.” This initiative not only showcases Clorox's commitment to innovative marketing strategies but also highlights the company’s understanding of consumer needs during the holiday hustle and bustle.

In addition to the holiday campaign, Clorox continues to navigate challenges in the packaged goods sector, which has faced pressures from inflation and stagnant growth. Recently mentioned by market analysts, Clorox is recognized among other consumer giants, such as Procter & Gamble and Kimberly-Clark, as a company with strong brand recognition despite its struggles in stock performance. This context underscores the importance of Clorox’s innovative initiatives, such as the “Gift of Clean,” to engage consumers and bolster brand loyalty during a critical time of year.

Overall, Clorox’s holiday offering exemplifies a strategic pivot towards consumer-centric solutions, highlighting the brand’s commitment to enhancing everyday life with practical, uplifting products that resonate with customers during the festive season.
