Strategic Alliance to Boost Gold Exploration in Morocco

EMX Royalty Corporation has solidified its commitment to gold exploration in Morocco through a newly executed exploration alliance with Avesoro Morocco LTD, a subsidiary of Avesoro Holdings LTD. Announced on July 8, 2025, this agreement allows Avesoro to fully fund exploration efforts across EMX's Moroccan portfolio, which encompasses 18 projects spanning 860 square kilometers. These projects are situated in some of Morocco's most promising mineral belts, including the underexplored Moroccan Sahara and the resource-rich Anti-Atlas belt, making this partnership a significant step in enhancing EMX's presence in the gold sector.

Under the alliance, Avesoro is set to acquire EMX Corp Morocco, which manages these exploration projects. This strategic move enables Avesoro to designate nine initial projects as Alliance Exploration Projects (AEPs), with the possibility of transitioning these AEPs to Designated Projects (DPs) as they progress. The initial term of the alliance is two years, with an option for extension, providing a structured approach to developing these promising projects while allowing EMX to retain ownership of any AEPs that do not advance to the DP stage. This arrangement not only facilitates the exploration of high-potential sites but also reduces EMX's operational costs, allowing the company to focus on capitalizing on its royalty exposure.

Morocco presents a favorable environment for mineral exploration, and EMX recognizes the country's stable regulatory framework and significant geological potential. By partnering with Avesoro, EMX aims to leverage their operational expertise to accelerate the development of its Moroccan projects. Since entering the Moroccan market in 2021, EMX has positioned itself strategically to benefit from the growing interest in gold production within the region. This alliance underscores the company's commitment to advancing its exploration efforts while minimizing financial risks, ultimately strengthening its portfolio in the competitive mining landscape.

In addition to the exploration alliance, EMX's ongoing engagement in Morocco highlights the country's potential as a key player in the global gold mining sector. The partnership with Avesoro not only solidifies EMX's operational strategy but also enhances its ability to navigate the complexities of mineral exploration in a rapidly evolving market. The collaboration aims to create a robust framework for exploration success in a region that is increasingly gaining attention from industry stakeholders.

As EMX looks to the future, this strategic alliance positions the company to capitalize on emerging opportunities in Morocco's gold sector, paving the way for new discoveries and potential revenue streams.
