Mining Giant Sean Roosen Joins Streamex as Strategic Advisor

With a legacy that helped build billion-dollar mining empires, Roosen’s next chapter is in blockchain-powered commodities.

In a move that bridges two massive worlds—natural resources and blockchain tokenization—Streamex, the newly acquired subsidiary of BioSig Technologies (NASDAQ: BSGM), has announced the appointment of globally renowned mining executive Sean Roosen as a Strategic Advisor.

For those who follow the mining and resource industry, Roosen needs little introduction. As founder and Executive Chairman of Osisko Development Corp., and the visionary behind Osisko Mining and Osisko Gold Royalties, Roosen has been credited with helping unlock one of the largest gold deposits in Canada, developing the Canadian Malartic mine, and shaping North America’s royalty finance model in mining. His work has helped create billions in shareholder value.

Now, he’s bringing that same energy and experience to Streamex—an RWA (real-world asset) tokenization company focused on revolutionizing how commodities are traded, financed, and accessed.

"Sean’s deep expertise across mining, capital markets, and value creation makes him an invaluable addition to our advisory team," said Henry McPhie, CEO of BioSig and Co-Founder of Streamex. “His unmatched track record in building and scaling multi-billion-dollar resource companies brings tremendous strategic value to Streamex.”
Roosen echoed the excitement, noting: “The opportunity to bring the resource sector into the digital age through tokenized assets is incredibly compelling. Streamex has assembled the right vision and team to lead this evolution.”

Why This Appointment Matters

While Streamex may be a new name in digital finance, the team behind it is building serious momentum. The company aims to tokenize real-world assets—starting with commodities—to improve liquidity, settlement times, and global market access through blockchain technology.

Tokenization refers to the process of creating digital representations of physical or financial assets (such as metals, oil, or agricultural goods) on a blockchain. According to Boston Consulting Group, the tokenized asset market could reach $16 trillion by 2030, representing a sweeping shift in how assets are issued, traded, and managed.

With Sean Roosen on board, Streamex gains deep credibility in resource valuation, deal structuring, and institutional strategy. It also strengthens Streamex’s positioning in one of the most compelling early use-cases for blockchain: commodities.

Building an All-Star Advisory Board

Roosen joins a heavyweight advisory team that already includes:

  • Frank Giustra – Founder of Wheaton Precious Metals and GoldCorp, and a major player in mining and global finance.
  • Mathew August – Executive Chairman of Atlas Capital Partners, with deep experience in capital markets and private investment across emerging sectors.

These strategic voices are helping Streamex navigate the path from vision to execution—at a time when financial institutions are increasingly looking to blockchain for new forms of transparency and efficiency.

Streamex: A Glimpse Into the Future of Commodity Finance

Streamex, now a wholly owned subsidiary of BioSig Technologies, is developing infrastructure to bring commodities on-chain. The goal? To digitize everything from gold to grains—making it easier to issue, trade, and settle transactions through secure, programmable assets.

By integrating blockchain infrastructure with traditional finance frameworks, Streamex aims to unlock new efficiencies for commodity trading—particularly in settlement speed, collateral management, and cross-border access.

The company’s growing team includes seasoned professionals from commodities, banking, and decentralized finance. With BioSig’s support and a strong advisory bench, Streamex is positioning itself to be a leader in this emerging asset class.
