Copper Fox Metals Inc. Advances Exploration at Eaglehead Project with New Geophysical Survey
Copper Fox Metals Inc. (TSXV: CUU) announces the initiation of a new geophysical survey at its wholly-owned Eaglehead porphyry copper-gold-molybdenum-silver project, located approximately 50 kilometers east of Dease Lake, British Columbia. The company has engaged Dias Geophysical Limited to undertake a 3D pole-dipole distributed Direct Current Induced Polarization (DCIP) survey across an area of about 6 square kilometers. This survey is part of an effort to complete the geophysical coverage of a mineralized corridor that features four closely spaced, open-ended deposits of porphyry copper mineralization, thereby enhancing the understanding of the site's geological potential.
The current mineral resource estimate at the Eaglehead Project is based on a partially defined continuous 6-kilometer-long chargeability anomaly that correlates strongly with mineralization zones. The project spans an impressive 15,713 hectares, showcasing an 8 km by 3 km zone of altered and mineralized rocks. Historical exploration at Eaglehead has included 126 diamond drill holes totaling 36,605 meters, alongside various geological surveys. With the new survey, Copper Fox aims to achieve several objectives for 2025, including imaging chargeability and resistivity signatures to depths exceeding 600 meters and generating a comprehensive 3D inversion model to better define the mineralized envelope.
Elmer B. Stewart, President and CEO of Copper Fox Metals, highlights the strategic significance of this survey in further defining the mineralized envelope based on the spatial relationship between mineralization and chargeability. The advanced DIAS32 system employed in the survey features single-channel receivers that facilitate efficient data collection, indicating a commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technology for enhanced exploration outcomes. This initiative not only aims to reinforce the understanding of the geological framework at Eaglehead but also positions Copper Fox for potential future discoveries in a promising mineral-rich area.
In addition to the geophysical survey, Copper Fox continues to build upon its extensive historical data, which provides a solid foundation for ongoing exploration efforts. The company's proactive approach to resource definition aligns with industry trends focusing on sustainable and responsible mining practices. As the exploration landscape evolves, Copper Fox's strategic initiatives at Eaglehead exemplify its determination to unlock the project's full potential and contribute to the growing demand for copper and other critical minerals.
