Hannan Metals Expands Gold Mineralization at Previsto Project
Hannan Metals Limited (TSXV: HAN) announces critical advancements in gold mineralization at its Previsto project in Vancouver, British Columbia. Recent geological mapping and channel sampling efforts reveal a significant expansion of alkalic-type epithermal gold mineralization, extending the identified strike length to 650 meters—a notable increase of 150 to 200 meters. This high-grade mineralization is strategically positioned at the northern edge of a 4 km by 4 km soil gold anomaly, where gold concentrations exceed 0.1 g/t Au. CEO Michael Hudson underscores the importance of these findings, highlighting the amplified confidence in the potential scale of the gold system and the numerous high-grade vein sets uncovered in the area.
The mapping results not only enhance the understanding of the mineralization's extent but also emphasize the geological characteristics that make Previsto a promising exploration site. With the identification of multiple high-grade vein sets, Hannan's field teams are poised to further explore and define these structures through detailed sampling. This proactive approach aims to substantiate the project's economic viability and establish a clearer path forward for future exploration efforts. The ongoing work at Previsto solidifies Hannan's commitment to advancing its projects and optimizing resource extraction in a competitive mining landscape.
In parallel with developments at Previsto, Hannan Metals initiates a maiden 5,000-meter drilling program at its Belen site, comprising 18 diamond drill holes focused on three high-priority areas. The first drill hole at Vista Alegre reaches a depth of 184.6 meters, targeting a significant geophysical anomaly known for its strong gold and silver mineralization. As the company sets out to conduct systematic drill testing across the 2.4 km geophysical anomaly, it also eyes additional targets, including a 1.2 km long alkalic porphyry system at Sortilegio and a prominent chargeability anomaly at Ricardo Herrera. Hannan anticipates the first assay results from this ambitious drilling campaign by July 2025, setting the stage for potential breakthroughs in the company's gold exploration endeavors.
As Hannan Metals continues to expand its understanding of gold mineralization and prepares for extensive drilling, the company reinforces its strategic focus on discovering and developing high-quality mineral resources. The recent advancements at both the Previsto and Belen projects reflect its commitment to exploring untapped geologic potential while positioning itself favorably within the evolving landscape of the mining industry.
