Rock Tech Lithium Inc. announces a significant milestone with the acquisition of CAD $388,074 from Ontario's Critical Minerals Innovation Fund (CMIF) to develop an innovative ore sorting process. This project, in collaboration with Queen's University and Stark Technologies, aims to enhance lithium recovery from low-grade spodumene ores at Rock Tech's Georgia Lake site, located near Beardmore, Ontario. Traditionally, ores containing lithium levels between 0.3% and 0.5% Li₂O are considered uneconomic, but the new initiative hopes to achieve an ambitious recovery target of 80%.
