AGCO brings electrified tractors to Tulare
AGCO is using the World Ag Expo in Tulare, California, to spotlight electrification and dealer-led demonstrations, positioning new battery-powered and precision-agriculture offerings where farmers can test them side-by-side with conventional machines. The company moves its exhibit to the front of the show grounds on Feb. 10–12 and shares a Ride-and-Drive area with California dealer Quinn Company to give attendees hands‑on access to equipment, telematics and warranty and financing information.
Front-of-show Ride-and-Drive debuts Fendt e100 Vario
AGCO stages the North American debut of the compact, battery-powered Fendt e100 Vario at the Ride-and-Drive, seeking to show practical pathways to reduced emissions and lower on‑farm energy use. The e100 Vario charges in under five hours, supports both traditional and electrified attachments and is presented as an entry point for operations evaluating full electrification, according to AGCO materials.
At the Ride-and-Drive, AGCO and Quinn Company staff provide live demonstrations and technical answers, allowing farmers and commercial operators to compare electrified and conventional configurations directly in the field. Company marketing vice president Mike Long says the Expo offers a venue to connect with growers on “electric tractors and intuitive, field‑proven Massey Ferguson advancements,” stressing demonstrations that combine modern technology with familiar dependability.
The public showcase also highlights how electrified machines integrate with AGCO’s precision‑ag and telematics platforms, letting operators consider workflow, charging and warranty options when planning upgrades by operation size, crop type and sustainability targets.
Other equipment highlights and services
Alongside the electric tractor, AGCO is exhibiting Massey Ferguson’s SB.1436DB double baler and several AE50 award-winning solutions, accompanied by built‑in warranty programs and dealer support to lower operational risk for early adopters.
Fendt’s production models also appear at the exhibit, including the heavy‑duty Fendt 1000 Vario Gen4 fixed‑frame tractor, the Fendt 200 V/F/P Vario designed for vineyards and specialty crops, and the Rogator 900 Series applicator — marketed as the industry’s only rear‑boom applicator with two‑height adjustable clearance — underscoring AGCO’s dual focus on electrification and established high‑horsepower capabilities.
