Aris Mining (ARIS) ramps Segovia and Marmato expansions to drive toward 500,000 oz/year
- Aris Mining is accelerating production, targeting about 257,000 ounces in 2025 and ~500,000 ounces annually with expansions.
- Second mill at Segovia started June 2025 and is ramping up to boost throughput and recovery.
- Marmato's CIP plant is under construction, with first gold expected in Q4 2026.
Andean Production Push at Segovia and Marmato
Aris Mining is accelerating production growth at its two Colombian underground gold mines, positioning the company to nearly double annual output over the next two years. The company reports combined production of about 257,000 ounces of gold in 2025 and is commissioning a second mill at Segovia that came online in June 2025 and is now ramping up. Aris expects the Segovia mill to increase throughput and recovery rates as commissioning progresses.
Construction at Marmato is likewise moving forward with a carbon-in-pulp (CIP) plant under build and first gold from that circuit expected in the fourth quarter of 2026. Management frames the Segovia and Marmato expansions as complementary: Segovia bolsters near-term cash flow while Marmato adds incremental production and optionality as the CIP plant comes into operation. Together these projects underpin a company target of about 500,000 ounces of annual production, with management saying the 100% owned portfolio has the potential to reach one million ounces over time.
Aris balances expansion with a focus on operational execution and financial discipline to fund growth from existing cash flow. The company highlights experienced leadership and a strategy of combining brownfield expansion, ongoing exploration and development to unlock value while maintaining current production and free cashflow generation that supports further investment.
NYSE Uplisting and Ticker Alignment
In parallel with its operational growth, Aris is shifting its U.S. listing from the NYSE American to the New York Stock Exchange, changing its U.S. trading symbol from ARMN to ARIS to align with its Toronto listing. Shares are set to stop trading on the NYSE American after market close on Feb. 18, 2026 and to begin trading on the NYSE in pre-market on Feb. 19, 2026; shareholders are not required to take any action and senior management will appear on the NYSE floor for a Closing Bell ceremony.
Founding Aim and Regional Focus
Founded in September 2022 to build a South America-focused gold company, Aris emphasizes scale and diversification across operating mines and development projects. The company is pursuing exploration and brownfield opportunities across its wholly owned assets while using production cash flow to fund expansions and maintain disciplined governance and capital allocation.
