Chris Pogue comes to Calian with an extensive background in the defence and aerospace sectors, boasting over 20 years of senior executive experience. He previously served as President and CEO of Thales Canada, where he successfully led initiatives to expand naval support services and revitalized land-forces capabilities. His tenure included driving advancements in artificial intelligence and digital transformation—areas that are increasingly vital in modern defence strategies. Pogue has also held leadership roles at MDA Government’s Defence Space portfolio and General Dynamics Mission Systems Canada, equipping him with a broad perspective on industry challenges and opportunities. His experience uniquely positions him to enhance Calian's strategic focus and operational execution within the defence and space arenas.

Pogue's appointment signifies Calian's commitment to fostering innovation within Canada's defence ecosystem.
