Sunshine Health, a subsidiary of Centene Corporation, is enhancing community welfare in Florida through the distribution of $100,000 in childcare and transportation grants to five nonprofit organizations. The five selected nonprofits, including Wheels of Success and Boys and Girls Club of North Central Florida, exemplify diverse approaches to tackling critical barriers faced by families. Wheels of Success provides necessary vehicle repairs, ensuring reliable transportation for individuals in Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas counties. In addition, the Boys and Girls Club offers no-cost childcare in Taylor County, enabling parents to pursue employment opportunities without the worry of childcare costs.
