DXC Deepens Role in Lloyd’s Syndicate Onboarding with PoloWorks
Assure Commercial & Specialty Powers Rapid Syndicate Scaling
Ashburn, Virginia — DXC Technology is expanding its footprint in the London insurance market after PoloWorks adds three new Lloyd’s syndicates to the group using DXC’s Assure Commercial & Specialty platform. The cloud-native, API-enabled system combines integrated AI with no-code configurability to give new syndicates immediate access to a modern underwriting and operations platform, enabling rapid set-up and early-stage scalability without bespoke development work.
PoloWorks and DXC, partners since 2023, are using the Assure suite to shift maintenance and infrastructure responsibilities away from individual syndicates, shortening the time and cost required to form and operationalise new Lloyd’s entities. The arrangement removes long-standing barriers to faster syndicate formation by standardising workflows, centralising regulatory and reporting controls, and delivering digitalised processes that support compliance and operational efficiency from day one.
PoloWorks’ managing director says the platform allows syndicates to concentrate on underwriting while DXC ensures stability, connectivity and secure operations. The technology also supports insurers and managing general agents (MGAs) across the PoloWorks ecosystem, with API connectivity and no-code tools accelerating integrations with brokers, reinsurers and third-party data providers while preserving Lloyd’s regulatory requirements.
Industry implications
The move underscores a broader industry trend toward platform-driven services that lower entry costs for specialty insurers and MGAs, encouraging market participation and faster product launches through standardised, cloud-based infrastructure.
DXC strategic positioning
DXC is leveraging Assure’s cloud-native, AI-enabled and configurable approach to deepen vertical penetration in insurance technology, using global delivery and security capabilities to support client growth and recurring managed-service relationships.
