Encompass Health picks Flowood for new 50‑bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital

Encompass Health says it is building a freestanding, 50‑bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Flowood, Mississippi, its second facility in the state after Gulfport, with an expected opening in 2027. The hospital provides 24‑hour nursing and specialised rehabilitative care for patients recovering from strokes, neurological disorders, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations and complex orthopedic conditions.
