G2 Goldfields Inc. Expands Gold Exploration Efforts in Guyana

G2 Goldfields Inc. is making strides in its exploration endeavors within the OKO-AREMU district of Guyana, recently announcing promising assay results from its ongoing drilling program. The company holds exploration rights to an expansive 83,967 acres in the region, where it has now identified its third significant gold discovery—the New Oko Discovery Area. This site, located just 10 kilometers north of the existing Oko-Ghanie Deposit, has the potential to bolster G2's already impressive resource base. The Oko-Ghanie Deposit is noted for containing approximately 1.5 million ounces of indicated gold at an average grade of 3.40 grams per tonne (g/t) and 1.6 million ounces inferred at 2.48 g/t.

As part of its exploration efforts, G2 Goldfields has executed an extensive drilling campaign, completing 69 diamond drill holes that total 13,239 meters in the New Oko area. The recent release highlights the assay results from 25 of these drill holes, numbered AMD26 to AMD50, which encompass a combined drilling length of 4,113 meters. A significant focus of this drilling has been on the 'Main Shear' zone, with 17 of the holes specifically targeting this area. The assays, based on un-capped gold results, indicate the presence of low-grade mineralization, which is critical for understanding the potential economic viability of the site. Noteworthy intercepts include hole AMD31, yielding 1.1 g/t Au over 7.5 meters, and hole AMD40, which returned 1.4 g/t Au over 4.5 meters and 3.8 g/t Au over a shorter interval.

The strategic focus of G2's drilling program is to explore gold mineralization down-plunge from previously reported near-surface intercepts. This targeted approach aims to identify and delineate further resources that could enhance the company's overall gold inventory. The positive assay results not only reinforce the potential of the New Oko Discovery Area but also reflect G2 Goldfields' commitment to advancing its exploration initiatives in one of the world's emerging gold districts. As the company continues its drilling activities, it lays the groundwork for future resource estimates that could significantly impact its operational footprint in Guyana.

In addition to the New Oko Discovery, G2 Goldfields is poised to benefit from its existing assets in the region. The company’s exploration rights to the extensive 83,967 acres offer ample opportunity for further discoveries, which could lead to a robust pipeline of future projects. The ongoing exploration and drilling activities highlight G2’s proactive approach in a competitive mining landscape, underpinning its long-term growth strategy.

With the gold market maintaining a strong interest in high-grade discoveries, G2 Goldfields is well-positioned to capitalize on the positive momentum generated by these new assay results. As the company continues to refine its exploration techniques and expand its resource base, it remains a player to watch in the Guyanese gold mining sector.
