GFI Software Consolidates North American Distribution Under Zebra Systems
GFI Software, a prominent provider of AI-driven security and communication solutions for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), announces a strategic consolidation of its North American distribution under Zebra Systems LLC, effective April 21, 2026. This initiative seeks to streamline GFI's channel strategy and enhance partner enablement in the U.S. and Canada. Zebra Systems, recognized for over 15 years as GFI's leading distributor in Europe, is set to become the primary distribution partner in North America. Eric Vaughan, CEO of GFI Software, underscores the necessity of utilizing Zebra’s established market expertise to replicate its European success in the North American landscape.
The consolidation aims to significantly improve the reseller experience. GFI plans to provide a specialized webshop for resellers, which will facilitate easier ordering processes. In addition, comprehensive technical and sales support from GFI specialists will be available to partners, alongside tailored training programs aimed at driving business growth. Paul Trefonas, Vice President of GFI Sales North America at Zebra Systems, emphasizes their commitment to acting as a growth engine for GFI partners, showcasing an investment in resources and support that aligns with the needs of resellers.
As part of this transition, GFI Software will conclude its existing distribution agreement with Climb Channel Solutions, with Vaughan expressing gratitude for Climb's past support. Resellers currently working with Climb are encouraged to transition to Zebra Systems to ensure service continuity. GFI assures that existing subscriptions and licenses will transfer seamlessly to the new distribution structure, facilitating a smooth onboarding process for all partners. GFI Software remains devoted to delivering innovative solutions, including GFI AppManager AI, aimed at simplifying IT management for SMBs through its global network of partners.
In recognition of its prior successes, Zebra Systems received the Top Growth Partner and Innovation Award from GFI Software in 2025. This consolidation reflects GFI's strategic focus on enhancing operational efficiencies and partner engagement in North America, leveraging Zebra's proven methodologies to build a robust ecosystem for resellers. With the impending changes, GFI Software continues to reinforce its commitment to empowering SMBs with advanced IT management solutions.
