GEDU Global Education Partners with UNITAR to Advance Sustainable Development Goals

On December 17, 2025, GEDU Global Education, a multinational educational organization based in the UK, solidifies its commitment to global sustainability through a landmark agreement with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). The partnership allows GEDU to operate one of UNITAR's 32 international training centers, focusing on capacity-building programs that align with the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This agreement was formalized during the XXII Annual Steering Committee Meeting of the CIFAL Global Network held in London from December 9 to 11, where over 70 delegates from more than 30 countries convened to discuss strategies for achieving these critical global objectives.

The CIFAL centers, known for their emphasis on professional training for government officials and civil society representatives, have made significant strides in 2025, training over 161,000 beneficiaries.
