Boeing has announced a significant milestone in international defense collaboration, securing a Foreign Military Sales contract with the U.S. Army valued at nearly $4.7 billion to produce 96 AH-64E Apache attack helicopters for the Polish Armed Forces. This order represents the largest acquisition of Apache helicopters outside of the United States, positioning Poland as the 19th operator of the Apache globally and granting it the largest fleet of these advanced helicopters outside U.S. borders. The Polish Ministry of National Defence (MND) is already taking proactive steps to prepare for the arrival of this fleet, including training pilots and maintainers while leasing eight Apache aircraft from the U.S. Army.
