### Clean Energy Fuels Expands Renewable Natural Gas Contracts Amid Increasing Demand

Clean Energy Fuels Corp., recognized as the largest provider of renewable natural gas (RNG) for the transportation sector, announces a series of new contracts aimed at meeting the surging demand for sustainable fuel solutions. Recently, the company reports a strong performance in RNG sales, highlighting its pivotal role in supporting various markets, including heavy-duty trucks, public transit, and refuse collection. This growth trajectory aligns with the broader trend towards cleaner energy alternatives, reflecting an industry shift towards renewable resources in transportation.

Among the recently established agreements, Clean Energy has signed a three-year contract with DHL, which marks the logistics giant's entry into the RNG market. Under this deal, Clean Energy will supply 100,000 gallons of RNG annually for DHL's fleet operating in California, Texas, and Arizona. Additionally, Food Express, an early adopter of RNG technology, enters into a new agreement to establish a fueling station in California, projecting a consumption of 3 million gallons over the next decade for its fleet of 20 heavy-duty trucks. These contracts not only showcase Clean Energy's growing influence in the market but also demonstrate the willingness of major transportation companies to transition towards greener alternatives.

The momentum continues with LA Metro, one of the largest transit agencies in the United States, renewing its contract for RNG, which will supply a hefty 14 million gallons across five fueling stations. Other notable agreements include a partnership with SalSon Logistics for 500,000 gallons of RNG over five years to fuel its fleet of 15 trucks in the Chicago area, and a commitment from Estes Express Lines to procure 450,000 gallons annually for its new trucks in Texas, alongside its existing RNG usage for operations in California. Clean Energy also extends its relationship with Harris Ranch, supplying 450,000 gallons for 40 heavy-duty trucks, while Nationwide Environmental Services signs a five-year contract for 1.75 million gallons to power its street sweepers in Norwalk, California.

The recent surge in contracts illustrates Clean Energy Fuels' steadfast commitment to advancing renewable natural gas as a viable and sustainable fuel alternative.
