This project, funded with $300,000 from LUNGevity and its partner EGFR Resisters, seeks to deliver CAR-T therapy directly to the central nervous system (CNS) tumor site. This direct approach aims to enhance treatment specificity while minimizing harm to healthy tissues, addressing a pressing issue as over half of patients with EGFR-positive NSCLC experience CNS metastases.
