At the Mobile World Congress 2024 in Shanghai, EHang Holdings, a pioneer in autonomous aerial vehicles (AAVs), unveils a transformative vision for urban transportation in China. EHang's Vice President He Tianxing announces that flying taxis will become a viable mode of transport within the next three to five years, marking a significant milestone for the company and the broader industry. Initial flight experiences will offer rides lasting between three to ten minutes, with plans for future expansion into additional cities, including Zhuhai, Shenzhen, Taiyuan, Wuxi, Wenzhou, and Wuhan.
