EverBank Expands Its Footprint with New Financial Center in California
EverBank, N.A. inaugurates its first financial center on the West Coast in Encino, California, marking a pivotal moment in the bank's strategic growth plan. As part of its expansion into the California market, the Encino center aims to deliver a broad spectrum of consumer and business banking products to local communities, including Sherman Oaks, Tarzana, and Woodland Hills. The branch, led by experienced branch manager Alfred Ovasapyan, seeks to integrate personal service with innovative banking solutions, positioning itself as a community-centric financial institution. CEO Greg Seibly underscores the importance of relationship-building within the community, while also introducing performance-driven products tailored to meet the unique needs of local clients.
The establishment of the Encino financial center is a critical element in EverBank's broader strategy to enhance its presence across Southern California. The bank’s West Coast operations are anchored by its hub in Irvine, where key leadership, including Patrick Nygren, Head of Retail Banking, and Regional Manager Brian Gilpatrick, coordinate expansion efforts. With plans for a second financial center in Roseville later this year and ambitions to grow into the Bay Area, Los Angeles, and Orange County by 2025, EverBank is poised for significant regional growth. The acquisition of Sterling Bank & Trust, FSB, which will add 25 additional branches, is a cornerstone of this expansion drive.
In addition to its retail banking initiatives, EverBank is also enhancing its commercial lending capabilities in California. The launch of a Southern California Commercial Banking division and a Multifamily Lending sector highlights the bank's commitment to supporting local businesses and fostering economic growth. Nygren emphasizes the potential for innovation and accessibility in banking, promising a fresh approach that prioritizes personalized services. The opening of the Encino center not only reflects EverBank’s growth ambitions but also signifies its dedication to serving the diverse financial needs of the communities in which it operates.
EverBank's expansion efforts represent a strategic move to tap into the lucrative Southern California market, showcasing its commitment to innovation and customer service. With a clear focus on local engagement and enhanced product offerings, the bank aims to redefine the banking experience for both individuals and businesses in the region.
