Heidi Chen brings over 30 years of legal expertise to GeneDx, having previously served as General Counsel at Zoetis for nearly 12 years. During her tenure at Zoetis, she played a crucial role in establishing the legal department after the company's spinoff from Pfizer in 2013, overseeing key areas such as mergers and acquisitions, litigation, and operational strategy for human health diagnostics. Chen’s experience in these domains equips her to address the unique challenges faced by GeneDx as it seeks to enhance personalized health insights through genomic data. Her legal career began at Hughes & Hubbard and Clifford Chance, and she holds a J.D. from Cornell Law School and a B.S. from Yale University.
