Celebrating Community and Legacy: The Bud Billiken® Parade's Path to 100 Years

The Bud Billiken® Parade, the largest African American parade in the United States, is set to take place on August 9, 2025, on Chicago's South Side. This year’s theme, "Road to 100," pays homage to the parade's upcoming centennial, reflecting its deep-rooted commitment to celebrating youth, education, and excellence within the community. The event will be led by Grand Marshal LaRoyce Hawkins, a Chicago native and star of "Chicago P.D.," who expresses heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity.
