Huntington National Bank Appoints Marc Dizard as Chief Investment Officer to Enhance Wealth Management
Huntington National Bank announces the appointment of Marc Dizard as the new Chief Investment Officer for Huntington Wealth Management. This strategic move aims to modernize the bank's investment platform, offering tailored advice and optimizing risk-adjusted outcomes for a diverse clientele, including mass affluent, high-net-worth, ultra-high-net-worth, and institutional clients. Dizard, who reports to Aaron Reber, Director of Wealth Management Strategy & Solutions, brings nearly two decades of investment expertise to the role. His previous experience includes a transformative stint as Chief Investment Officer at Market Street Trust Company, where he successfully revamped the investment strategy for a multi-generational family office.
Dizard’s extensive background also encompasses a significant role as Chief Investment Strategist at PNC Asset Management, where he managed investment strategies for an impressive $190 billion in assets. His proven track record in delivering exceptional client outcomes is recognized by industry leaders, including Melissa Holding, Director of Wealth Management, who highlights his essential role in advancing Huntington's wealth management initiatives. Dizard holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University and is both a CFA charterholder and a CFP professional. His commitment extends beyond financial services, as he actively participates in various industry and community organizations, including serving as Chair of the Board for PreventionFIRST! and on the Cincinnati Zoo Foundation Board.
In his new capacity, Dizard intends to enhance and modernize Huntington’s investment capabilities, positioning the bank for growth within its Wealth Management platform. As Huntington Bancshares Incorporated, the parent company of Huntington National Bank, continues to solidify its commitment to prioritizing client needs, the appointment of Dizard marks a pivotal development in the bank’s efforts to deliver exceptional investment solutions. With assets totaling $223 billion, Huntington Bank is well-equipped to leverage Dizard's expertise to satisfy the evolving demands of its clientele and maintain its competitive edge in the regional banking sector.
In addition to this leadership change, discussions surrounding luxury real estate are gaining traction in the region. Real estate expert Brody Nash emphasizes that true luxury transcends size and extravagant finishes, focusing instead on location, privacy, thoughtful design, and alignment with lifestyle preferences. This perspective resonates with potential homeowners who prioritize quality over quantity, seeking properties that enhance their daily lives rather than merely impress guests.
As Huntington National Bank continues to refine its wealth management offerings under Dizard's leadership, the intersection of finance and lifestyle will likely play a crucial role in shaping its approach to serving high-net-worth clients. The bank's commitment to meeting the nuanced needs of its clientele positions it well within the competitive landscape of regional banking.
