Johnson Controls Expands Heat Pump Manufacturing in Denmark to Boost Sustainability and Capacity

Johnson Controls International (JCI) invests in expanding its heat pump manufacturing capabilities with a new facility in Holme, Denmark, responding to the growing demand for energy-efficient heating solutions across Europe. This strategic move aims to enhance production capacity while aligning with the European Union's sustainability goals by reducing reliance on fossil fuels. The facility expansion includes an additional 2,300 square meters for production alongside an 1,800 square meter customer experience and testing centre, emphasizing Johnson Controls' focus on innovation in energy solutions.

Expanding Manufacturing Capabilities

The new manufacturing site reflects Johnson Controls' commitment to meeting the rising demand for high-capacity heat pumps, particularly crucial for industrial applications and urban heating systems. This expansion enables the design and testing of large-capacity heat pumps adhering to the latest standards set by the European Heat Pump Association.
