Lightbridge Corporation, a leader in advanced nuclear fuel technology, has entered into a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Oklo Inc., a company recognized for its innovations in advanced nuclear power and fuel recycling. This partnership aims to conduct a feasibility study for the potential establishment of a Lightbridge commercial-scale fuel fabrication facility at Oklo's proposed site. The collaboration also opens avenues for joint efforts in nuclear waste recycling, an essential component in the sustainable development of nuclear energy. Seth Grae, President and CEO of Lightbridge, highlights that this initiative could lead to substantial reductions in both upfront capital expenditures and ongoing operational costs, reinforcing their commitment to promoting sustainable nuclear energy solutions.
