MGM Resorts International is expanding its experiential calendar with a citywide beverage festival and a Bellagio-based basketball activation designed to deepen guest engagement and attract national media and influencers. The company is positioning these events as part of a broader push to fuse entertainment, hospitality and brand-driven experiences across its Las Vegas properties.
Drink Las Vegas turns four Strip resorts into a beverage playground
MGM is staging Drink Las Vegas, an inaugural beverage and spirits festival that transforms Bellagio, ARIA, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and Park MGM into a four-day slate of programming from Sept. 24–27, 2026. The festival features more than 50 events aimed at consumers and trade participants, including tastings, chef-driven pairings, masterclasses and late-night activations that span cocktail culture, wine and spirits innovation and culinary collaboration.
Programming highlights include an Opening Night Experience, Signature Tastings, intimate dining and mixology pairings, education sessions and competitive mixology showcases, with VIP tracks and premium experiences for elevated access. MGM is collaborating with experiential agency a21 and sports management agency PRP on the effort; MGM’s president of entertainment frames the festival as a celebration of innovators pushing the beverage world forward while a21’s founder cites strong industry demand for a premium libation initiative that blends trade emphasis with consumer indulgence.
MGM presents the festival as both a local draw and an international stage for brand partners and culinary talent, aiming to set a new benchmark for modern beverage culture on the Strip. Ticketing, room packages and talent announcements are pending; organizers direct interested parties to the festival website and social channels for updates as they roll out promotional and commercial partnerships.
BetMGM unveils 'Court of Legends' speakeasy at Bellagio
Separately, BetMGM is activating a speakeasy-style basketball experience called The Court of Legends inside the Bellagio from April 4–6, 2026, during the final weekend of March Matchups. The activation, led by BetMGM and featuring twins Haley and Hanna Cavinder, includes a custom-built court for influencer-driven exhibitions and culminates in a Cavinder vs. Cavinder skills showdown on April 5 that will stream live on X, YouTube and the BetMGM app.
The promotion runs alongside a Court of Legends Leaderboard that awards 25 grand-prize VIP packages — including four tickets to the April 5 event, a three-night stay at MGM Grand, $2,000 in withdrawable bonus dollars and $500 in MGM Resorts credit. Entrants opt in via the BetMGM app and place qualifying wagers of at least $10 at minimum +100 odds; leaderboard points are tied to wager odds and outcomes, with a live in-app leaderboard updating daily and resetting weekly. BetMGM expects the activation to amplify March basketball engagement and broaden brand visibility across media and creator networks.
