Wynn taps Chef's Table to remake Las Vegas tasting experience

Wynn Resorts is announcing a multi-year global partnership with Chef's Table that transforms its Revelry tasting experience into Wynn Revelry by Chef's Table at Wynn Las Vegas, starting in September. The initiative pairs the casino-resort's culinary platform with talent drawn from the Netflix documentary brand, and is centered on a weekend slate of events including an opening Icons dinner, a chef-and-celebrity cookoff, a golf tournament, a bespoke nightlife offering and a culminating high-energy event called The Feast.

Wynn positions the collaboration as a strategic push to elevate its resorts as premier epicurean destinations and to create immersive guest programming that blends dining, storytelling and original content. Brian Gullbrants, chief operating officer for Wynn Resorts North America, says Revelry is “about pushing culinary boundaries” and that the tie-up with Chef's Table will deliver guest experiences “our guests won't find anywhere else.” Justin Connor, president of Chef's Table Projects, calls the activation “the first chapter” in work that will pursue culinary innovation through exclusive events and original programming with top chefs.

The companies say the activation will showcase the industry's brightest stars, offer forward-looking tastings rooted in documentary-style storytelling and aim to attract gastronomes globally while driving revenue and brand lift across Wynn’s portfolio. The announcement via PR Newswire frames the effort as a long-term drive to differentiate Wynn’s food and beverage offerings within the competitive Las Vegas market, where experiential dining and celebrity-chef programming increasingly shape demand.

China travel boom underscoring experiential demand

Separately, travel patterns during China’s Lunar New Year — officially Feb. 15–23 but extending about 40 days — are highlighting a broader experiential travel surge that benefits hotels and resort F&B. Alibaba-owned Fliggy reports bookings for theme-park hotels nearly double year-on-year and demand for trips featuring traditional performances and artisanal crafts up about 40%, reflecting younger travellers’ appetite for curated cultural experiences.

Analysts and operators say the trend is prompting hotel openings near leisure hubs and new entertainment precincts, with firms such as H World Group and Trip.com noting rising demand for transport hubs and leisure destinations, and entertainment companies launching physical ventures like iQiyi’s first theme park. For Wynn and peers, the shift toward immersive culinary and cultural programming offers a pathway to capture higher-value visitors and convert curiosity into sustained spending across resorts.
