Capstone Copper Corp. is an exploration company that engages in copper mining. The company is engaged in the production of and exploration of base metals in the United States (US), Mexico, and Chile, with a focus on copper. The company owns and operates the Pinto Valley copper mine located in Arizona, USA, the Cozamin copper-silver mine located in Zacatecas, Mexico, the Mantos Blancos copper-silver mine located in the Antofagasta region, Chile, and 70% of the Mantoverde copper-gold mine, located in the Atacama region, Chile. In addition, it owns the fully permitted Santo Domingo copper-iron-gold project, located approximately 30 kilometers northeast of Mantoverde in the Atacama region, Chile, as well as a portfolio of exploration properties in the Americas. Through Compania Minera Sierra Norte S.A., it owns 100% of Sierra Norte, an iron oxide copper gold deposit located in Chile's Atacama Region, that spans over 7,000 hectares.
