This fund primarily allocates at least 80% of its net assets to equity securities issued by small-capitalization companies. These equity investments can include common stocks, preferred stocks, convertible preferred stocks, warrants, and rights. The fund's adviser considers a company small-cap if its market capitalization, at the time of acquisition, falls within the spectrum of the Russell 2000® Growth Index.
