The fund typically allocates a minimum of 80% of its net assets, including any capital obtained through borrowing, to equity instruments. These investments primarily target U.S. companies and include ordinary shares, preference shares, and securities that can be converted into common or preferred stock. Furthermore, the fund has the discretion to invest in non-U.S. securities, either by direct purchase or through American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) traded on the New York Stock Exchange.
