The Shyft Group, Inc. engages in vehicle manufacturing and assembly for the commercial and retail vehicle industries as well as for the emergency response and recreational vehicle markets. Its customers include first-to-last mile delivery companies across vocations, federal, state, and local government entities; the trade; and utility and infrastructure segments. Its segments include Fleet Vehicles and Services (FVS) and Specialty Vehicles (SV). The FVS segment manufactures commercial vehicles used in the e-commerce/last mile/parcel delivery, beverage and grocery delivery, laundry and linen, mobile retail, and trade and construction industries. The SV segment includes a portfolio of businesses that provide service bodies, RV chassis, vocational upfit and contract manufacturing products and services. Its product offerings include walk-in vans, truck bodies, and cargo van and pick-up truck upfits designed for e-commerce and parcel delivery, as well as upfit equipment tailored for the mobile retail and utility trades.
